Dear Clients & Community,
COVID-19 has changed our lives dramatically in such a short period of time. Over the last few days, we have seen tighter local restrictions on businesses and CDC recommendations that call for social distancing in order to save lives. Out of concern for our employees and clients, we will be completing all meetings online or by phone starting tomorrow (3/17). We are reaching out to all clients who are scheduled for the next two weeks to coordinate or re-schedule.
Because we are a tech-forward company, we have full capability to complete all aspects of your mediation session remotely. All legal documents, including court forms and agreements, can be completed and signed without having to meet in-person. We understand that this may not be the preferred method for some clients. We welcome clients who wish to hit “pause” and re-schedule once our offices are open again. We are monitoring this situation daily and will announce a date when it is feasible.
Over the next few weeks, divorcing couples will be under immense stress while encountering unforeseen scenarios. There may be potential co-parenting issues that may arise from quarantines or social distancing. You may be wondering about how the market losses will impact your settlement agreement. We encourage clients to reach out to us. We are here for you and can schedule a single session to help resolve these complicated issues.
Above all, we hope you and your families stay safe and healthy. Make sure to take a moment each day to breath and see the good in each day. We will get through this together.
Peacefully,
